April 10 to April 24, 2013

For the past two weeks our class has been learning how America gained all of it’s land. Student’s looked at 8 events and how they shaped the United States and the land with in it. Each day our class would spend about 20 minutes taking notes and discussing topics related to land acquisition. Student then had to fill out a chart listing names involved in the event, what caused it, and what resulted in the event. Student’s then had to color a map showing what land was gained in that event. Below you will find all the notes relating to this topic. You will also find the chart that needs to be filled out. As far as the map you can find any map of the United States by googling for free maps.
